Bio: Ivy Aviv Golde-Mulligan

Ivy Aviv Golde-Mulligan — also known as Ivy Coyote — is a lifelong naturalist, storyteller, and dedicated NOLS advocate of over 15 years. A published author and skilled wildcrafter, she weaves ancestral wisdom, myth, and nature connection into her work. As the owner of The Wind and The Raven Apothecary, Ivy gathers and prepares remedies in harmony with the seasons, blending science, tradition, and spirit.

She raised two successful humans who both work in the field of environmentalism, nurturing them in the wilds of the Adirondack Mountains. Her professional path includes working in a Waldorf preschool in the early 1990s, serving as a youth program water safety instructor, and leading outdoor education and summer camps for more than 30 years. In 2014, she joined Oregon’s Outdoor School program, and her most recent endeavor was helping to found an outdoor preschool inspired by the Cedar Song Way this past August.(2025)

Her life’s work continues to honor the living world—teaching others how to walk it with curiosity, reverence, and

care.
